El Túnel Street

Named for its tunnel-like construction, it communicates with the dark street that was the Jewish quarter. It was formerly private and retains the hinges of the doors. Under the house is the typical Villanueva irrigation channel, whose purpose is to channel the irrigation from the mountains to the orchards. Although its first use was to serve as a sewer where neighbors used to dump their dirty water, today it is the favorite playground for children.
